I built Lineup to make the morning check simpler: where the surf looks best, which board to bring and when the wind or tide might change.
Free, with no ads
There’s no account, no subscription and no ad feed. Lineup isn’t a business. It runs on public wave, tide and weather data, so there’s nothing to charge for, and with no ads there’s nothing between you and the check.
It covers 31 Southern California spots in five regions. Where a spot has a useful free cam, Lineup links to the owner’s page. Those cam pages are run by their owners and may show ads.
A forecast, then your own check
The ratings are rules applied to wave, wind and tide data. They’re a starting point for deciding where to look, not a promise of what you’ll find in the water. Check the beach, the lifeguards and any warnings before you paddle out.
